Achinette Villamor is the Producer and Managing Director of Kamias Overground, a Manila-based film production company, publishing house, and music label. She works closely with the German film label Rapid Eye Movies, co-producing with them from 2012 to present Mondomanila (2012), Misericordia (2013), Ruined Heart (2014), and Alipato (2016). She has presented projects at NAFF-BiFan, Cinemart, Riviera Lab, Paris Project, etc. Villamor’s projects include Khavn De La Cruz’s films including the APSA-nominated Balengiga: Howling Wilderness; Lav Diaz’s solo album Impiyerno (Hell); Bing Austria’s soul album Rosas Epektos; Roxlee’s graphic novel Planet Of Noses; Philippine New Wave: This Is Not A Film Movement, a book on 17 Philippine filmmakers including Brillante Mendoza, Lav Diaz, Kidlat Tahimik, Raya Martin and Roxlee; and Under The Storm: An Anthology Of Contemporary Philippine Poetry featuring 150 Philippine poets. Upcoming is the vinyl release of the imaginary soundtrack album of the 40-piece Kontra-Kino Orchestra recorded & co-produced by Brezel Göring of Stereo Total.

Villamor’s work with Khavn extends back to 2012 with director Khavn De La Cruz beginning with the short film Ruined Heart! Another Love Story Between a Criminal and a Whore (2012) and its feature adaptation in 2014. Villamor has also worked as the cinematographer on Khavn’s documentary Simulacrum Tremendum (2016) and as co-writer on the avant-garde feature Bamboo Dogs (2018).
