Mesut Ulutaş is an Istanbul based film editor. Born in 1979 in Ankara, graduated from Ankara State Conservatory Musicology department. He worked as an editor on over 20 feature-length film and documentary projects including The Partical (Zerre, 2012), for which he won awards at MUFF Malatya International Film Festival and the SIYAD Turkish Film Critics Association Awards. As well as editing, Ulutaş recently worked as a producer for the first time on The Pigeon (Güvercin), which was nominated for the 68th Berlinale Generation 14Plus Best Feature, the GWFF First Feature awards and the APSA for Best Youth Feature Film.
