From a small seaside city in Southern China to the streets of New York City and currently based in Beijing, Yuchao “Robbin” Feng, with an MFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, was quickly recognised as an award-winning cinematographer and director. His exposure to two immensely contrasting worlds has deeply impacted his perspective on life and cinema. With a rich cultural background and unique visual style, Yuchao is inspired to integrate his eastern aesthetics with western storytelling through his work. His latest cinematography work, Jiao Ma Tang Hui (A New Old Play) premiered at the 74th Locarno Film Festival and received the Special Jury Award.
