Archil Gelovani is a film producer and founder of Independent Film Project, a Tbilisibased production company. IFP is one of the first independent studios in Georgia. It was founded in 2006 to introduce new talents and establish successful creative collaborations with respected filmmakers. Today IFP focuses on high-end auteur-driven cinema, and premium high-concept series and documentaries of socially significant context. Within IFP Archil has produced award-winning Georgian and international co-productions that were shown at Cannes, Rotterdam and Edinburgh, among others. Archil is an EAVE graduate and a member of the European Film Academy.
