Film Synopsis

After his father abandons him to become an Orthodox monk, introverted 19-year-old Sandro struggles to reconcile his duty to God and his awakening sexuality. The young man falls into a spiral of adolescent uncertainties as he searches for meaning and belonging in the turbulent society of post-Soviet Georgia.

The Asia Pacific Screen Academy expresses its respect for and acknowledgement of the South East Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
