Yoko Kuno - Asia Pacific Screen Awards

Born in 1990, Yoko Kuno studied at Tama Art University. Her graduation film, Airy Me (2013), won the Animation Division New Face Award at the 17th Japan Media Arts Festival, and many other awards. She worked as a rotoscoping animation director and is now considered one of the key figures in contemporary animation. An emerging creator who receives enthusiastic support from various fields, including animation, illustration, and manga.

The Asia Pacific Screen Academy expresses its respect for and acknowledgement of the South East Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
