Winner, Cultural Diversity Award under the patronage of UNESCO, 2015

Mohammed and his sister Farrah are in many ways oblivious to their troubled surroundings. They kick the football in the square; start a band with their friends and dream of one day singing in the Cairo Opera House. But the harsh realities of living in the devastation of the Gaza Strip ultimately confront the pair. With his childhood dream to sing still in his heart, Mohammed uses every ounce of his ingenuity and determination to get to the bright lights of Cairo and to the top of the Arab pops, fulfilling his dreams and also giving hope to a people who despite everything, still dare to dream.
