Established in 2011, the fund was founded by APSA Academy member Butch Jimenez and his 4 Boys Films production company based in Manila. The APSA Children’s Film Fund provides an amazing platform for all APSA Academy members to access critical funds for films about children of Asia Pacific.
Two AUD$20,000 grants are awarded each year that supports new children’s feature films and feature-length documentary or animation projects at creative inception that carry positive, life-affirming messages specifically about children in the region.
All projects submitted for the APSA Children’s Film Fund must be submitted by a member of the Academy of the Asia Pacific Screen Awards. Academy members are eligible to submit a maximum of two projects each year and an entry form, synopsis and treatment will be required for each submission. For details please go to:
