Edong Canlas, aka Edouard Canlas is the publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Clavel Magazine, the Philippines’ premier street culture magazine. He is the Chief Creative Officer of the design group Yentownkid and Co. They made projects and handled events and for prominent brands like New Balance, G-Shock, Converse and Nike. As one of the pioneers and as a strong promoter of street culture, he co-owns various brands like PFP, TigaSouth and most notably, Progress. Being in the middle of street culture and style, New Balance made Edouard one of their lifestyle brand ambassadors for Southeast Asia. In 2004, he pioneered Indieplug where amateur and professional filmmakers send short films and videos to be aired on a one-hour show on cable TV channel called Prime Broadcasting Network. The Indieplug Show is aired locally on Destiny Cable and broadcast in other countries via satellite. He is a contractor by profession. He is the president of his own successful construction company with projects in the Metro and around the country.
