Born in 1970, Eran Naim served at the 890 paratroopers in the Israeli army. Upon his release, he enlisted in the Israel Police for the role of a detective for 15 years. He has used this experience in his acting roles, working with writer-director Yaron Shani on four films including the 2010 Academy Award® nominee Ajami, which also won five Ophir awards including Best Film and received a special mention for the Camera d’Or Award for best first feature film at the Cannes Film Festival. He has also featured in Shani’s “Love Trilogy”, including Stripped (2018), Chained (2019), and the upcoming Reborn. In each, he plays the same character, a policeman named Rashi. For Chained, he received his first APSA nomination for Best Performance by an Actor.
