Thomas Hakim founded petit chaos in 2018 with Julien Graff. The company has produced 12 short films and two features, both directed by Payal Kapadia: A Night of Knowing Nothing, which premiered in 2021 in Directors Fortnight where it won the Golden Eye for Best Documentary, and All We Imagine as Light, which premiered in 2024 in Cannes Competition and won the Grand Prix. Thomas is a Berlinale Talent, a Locarno Match Me! participant, an EAVE alumnus and an EFA member.
