Yoko Matsuzaki has produced a wide range of entertainment content from events to drama and reality programs. Her production of Lu Over the Wall for director Masaaki Yuasi was awarded with the Feature Film Award at the prestigious Annecy International Animated Film Festival and was also nominated at the Fantasia and Shanghai international film festivals. In 2018, Penguin Highway was awarded the Kon Satoshi Award at the Fantasia International Film Festival, named after the late master of Japanese animation. That film also marks her first APSA nomination and the film was also nominated for a Japanese Academy Award and Sitges’ animation award. Other significant works include Project Itoh, One Piece, Psycho-Pass and Sazae-san, the television series that holds the record for longest-running animated series in the world. She was also instrumental in the launch of noitaminA, Fuji TV’s late-night anime showcase, and its companion +Ultra.
